Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CrispyShot ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License Grant

CrispyShot is provided as free software. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on macOS devices you own or control, for both personal and commercial purposes. You may not redistribute, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App.

3. Intellectual Property

The CrispyShot application, including its code, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of CrispyShot | bturkis. All rights are reserved.

Screenshots you capture with CrispyShot are your content. You own full rights to images you create. CrispyShot does not claim any ownership or license over your screenshots.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes.
  • Not attempt to exploit, hack, or reverse-engineer the App.
  • Not redistribute the App or make it available for download from unauthorized sources.

5. No Data Collection

CrispyShot does not collect any user data, analytics, or telemetry. The App operates entirely offline. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL BTURKIS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION OR THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

8. Updates and Changes

We may release updates to the App that change, add, or remove features. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the changes. These Terms may be updated at any time; the latest version will always be available on this page.

9. Termination

You may stop using CrispyShot at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to discontinue the App at any time without notice.

10. Apple App Store Terms

If you obtained CrispyShot through the Mac App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall govern for App Store distributions.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable local law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
